SENATE VOTE ON OBAMACARE REPEAL WILL BE SCORED AS KEY VOTE

ALEXANDRIA, VA - Citizens for the Republic Executive Vice President Bill Pascoe – anticipating a Senate vote later today on full repeal of ObamaCare – wrote a letter to every member of the Senate today to urge them to support the McConnell Amendment, and declared that the vote would be a Key Vote in the 2011 CFTR Annual Scorecard of Congress.

"Every day ObamaCare is the law of the land, Americans lose more of their right to make their own healthcare decisions with their doctors, jobs are harder to create, taxes increase, and – perhaps most importantly – liberty is lessened," wrote Pascoe.

"This afternoon, you'll have an opportunity to take action to stop and begin reversing that damage, when you vote on the McConnell Amendment to the Federal Aviation Administration authorization bill," Pascoe continued.

"Repealing ObamaCare is the right thing to do. The November elections sent a strong signal that the public does not support a government takeover of healthcare. Americans simply do not want the Secretary of Health and Human Services to be deciding what kind of healthcare they can receive, and at what price. They want to be able to make their own decisions, without interference by government bureaucrats.

"This vote is so important that we have decided to include it as a Key Vote in the 2011 CFTR Annual Scorecard of Congress.

"Please, do the right thing. Vote for the McConnell Amendment, and repeal this abomination," concluded Pascoe.
